Contact Lenses

Contact Lenses

More than 24 million people in the United States now wear contact lenses. Contacts are a good alternative to eyeglasses, depending on your eyes and lifestyle. Our optometrists are experienced in determining your tolerance for contact lenses and fitting all types of contacts including tinted lenses, astigmatic lenses, gas permeable and extended wear lenses. The development of new contact lens technologies have now made it possible to fit contact lenses for those individuals who were previously unable to wear contact lenses successfully. Contact lenses can provide a safe and effective way to correct vision when used with the proper care and supervision. At The Center For Sight, we provide three options for you to obtain your contact lenses:

  • Through our offices at either location
  • A written prescription for you to take to the place of your choice
  • Order on-line, which is convenient and less expensive

Upon your introduction to wearing contacts, The Center For Sight provides consultations with a trained Contact Lens Technician in order to teach you how to insert and remove, handle, and clean your contact lenses. With the proper training and follow-up care, contacts could improve both your vision and self-confidence.
