Dr. Romero, O.D.

Dr. Romero was born and raised in Houston, TX. He studied neuroscience at UT Austin and while there became interested in optometry after taking a visual pathways course along with ocular anatomy. This brought him back to Houston where he went to school at the University of Houston College of Optometry until 2021. He rotations focused on primary care and ocular disease at the Valley Coastal VA system in Texas and Cherokee Nation Health Services in Oklahoma. He is fluent in Spanish, and certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Romero has knowledge of Primary eye care, contact lenses, and diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.
